FORMATICA is an exploration of form + function. It is the transformation of the human form through the distortion of beauty ideals, the tension between reality and expectation, and the boundaries of biological and mechanical existence. By deconstructing and reimagining human anatomy through elements of machinery, alien morphology, and exaggerated proportions, this study examines how the grotesque and the unfamiliar can be reinterpreted as an evolving aesthetic. These concepts are translated into a womenswear collection that fuses organic and mechanical forms, challenging traditional silhouettes and functionality to create garments that embody the evolution of identity, imperfection, and the unknown.
